What's new: Federal court records allege the victims were abducted at gunpoint, taken to a Broward boat ramp and forced to send money through Zelle.
Six men face federal kidnapping and conspiracy charges after investigators accused them of abducting two people from the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in Florida and threatening to torture them for money. A recently unsealed FBI affidavit says the victims met one suspect in a parking garage on May 29 and were forced into separate cars at gunpoint by masked men armed with semiautomatic weapons. The victims were driven to the West Broward Boat Ramp, where they were forced to kneel, robbed of phones, jewelry, clothing and other belongings, and one was made to send $400 through Zelle. Court records identify the defendants as Saul Alfonso Fajardo, Justin Phihoang Le, Amari Tamire Hill, Anthony Teruel Hernandez, Marikevies McNichols Jr. and Weilen Hernandez.
