49ers owner Jed York pleads no contest after Ohio prostitution sting

What's next: The NFL will review the case under its personal conduct policy after York was fined $1,150 and released Monday.

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges after his arrest in an Ohio prostitution sting, with the original prostitution count reduced to disorderly conduct. York also faced a possessing criminal tools charge tied to a cellphone investigators said was used to arrange the meeting. He was sentenced to one day in jail on each count, to run concurrently, fined a total of $1,150 and ordered to complete an online course before his release Monday. The arrest followed an operation by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force and East Palestine police near a trailer park in East Palestine, Ohio.
