36-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Tangsel Home Corridor
Police are still tracing the cause of DS's death after residents smelled a foul odor from an alley in Pondok Ranji.
A man with the initials DS, 36, was found dead in a home corridor on Jalan Panda Raya RT 004/RW 005, Pondok Ranji, Ciputat Timur, Tangerang Selatan, Banten, on Saturday. Residents first noticed a foul odor from the location, then checked together and found the victim lying on his back, no longer alive. The Ciputat Timur Police and the Identification Unit of the Tangerang Selatan Police Criminal Investigation Unit then went to the scene, secured the area, examined the body and took statements from witnesses. Ciputat Timur Police Chief Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq said the exact cause of death is still under investigation. The body has been handled according to procedure for further investigation.
