35,476 KDMP-KNMP managers required to undergo 45-day training
New: participants are training at 67 TNI units; at Pasmar 1 Cilandak alone there are 669 KDMP students and 865 KNMP students.
The Ministry of Defense requires 35,476 prospective managers of Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih and Kampung Nelayan Merah Putih to undergo 45 days of basic military training under the Reserve Component before taking office. The program consists of 30 days of discipline and basic military instruction, followed by 15 days of managerial material prepared together with relevant ministries.
The TNI AL Marine Corps is also training participants at Pasmar 1 Cilandak, Jakarta. According to Marine Corps information chief Col. (Mar.) Rana Karyana, the unit has 669 KDMP students and 865 KNMP students. The material covers drill, military ceremony procedures, discipline, field leadership, weapons familiarization, and survival procedures, then continues with KDMP management by the Ministry of Cooperatives and KNMP management by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.
