3 PSEL projects in Bekasi, Bogor, Denpasar enter PSN
The three waste-to-energy projects will get accelerated support, including interministerial coordination and help clearing project hurdles.
Three Pengolahan Sampah Menjadi Energi Listrik (PSEL) projects in Bekasi, Bogor Raya and Denpasar Raya have been officially designated as Proyek Strategis Nasional. The designation refers to Peraturan Menko Perekonomian Nomor 16 Tahun 2025, as well as Perpres Nomor 35 Tahun 2018 and Perpres Nomor 109 Tahun 2025 on accelerating the development of waste-processing facilities into energy using environmentally friendly technology. The PSN letters were issued by KPPIP Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian to the three developers and operators, namely Bekasi Environment Nusantara, Nusantara Bogor New Energy and Nusantara Bali New Energy. With PSN status, the projects are placed on the national priority agenda and receive support to speed implementation.
