3 Foreigners Suspected as IDF Members Ejected from Ubud Gym Goes Viral
Denpasar Immigration and Ubud police are checking the identities and alleged military status of the three men.
Video of the expulsion of three foreign nationals suspected of being members of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from a gym in Ubud, Gianyar, Bali, went viral on social media. The gym owner, Samir, said the three were asked to leave after one of them behaved rudely toward staff. In videos posted by the @filaasteni and @ayendaubud accounts, Samir said the guests claimed to be from Israel and linked to the IDF. He also alleged they entered Indonesia using passports from another country. After the incident, the gym received one-star reviews on Google Review and accusations of racism. Samir denied discrimination based on religion and said the refusal was aimed at IDF members and visitors who did not respect staff. Denpasar Class I TPI Immigration Office and Ubud Police are now reviewing the video and the identities of the three men.
