MBG suspect Sony submits 41 names tied to SPPG sites to AGC

The list grew from 26 names after investigators opened chats with a table of proposed sites, including names linked to politics.

Suspect in the Makan Bergizi Gratis corruption case, Sony Sonjaya, handed investigators at the Attorney General's Office a total of 41 names during questioning on Thursday (18/6). The number rose from the 26 names he had previously provided. Sony's lawyer, Krisna Murti, said the additions came after investigators opened a conversation containing a table of proposed Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) sites for certain parties. He said the names on the list include politicians and regents, but did not disclose them publicly. In the case, the Attorney General's Office has named five suspects, including former National Nutrition Agency head Dadan Hindayana, Sony Sonjaya, Lodewyk Pusung, Asep Yusuf Somantri and Andri Mulyono. The investigation centers on alleged appointment of SPPG partners affiliated with senior BGN officials and markups in goods procurement.
