The 26 projects are projected to create 37,833 jobs, while one-door export rules for three commodities took effect on 1 June 2026.
The government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming is preparing 26 downstreaming projects worth a total of Rp225 trillion in the first two years of its term. According to the Government Communications Agency, the Danantara-prepared projects are split into two phases and are expected to absorb 37,833 workers. The government is positioning downstreaming as a driver of added value for natural resources at home and as a boost to national industry. At the same time, one-door export policy for coal, palm oil and ferro alloy took effect on 1 June 2026 through PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia. In 2025, exports of the three commodities reached US$66.13 billion, equal to 23.4 percent of total national exports.
