The underground route had reinforced walls, electricity, ventilation and a rail system, and agents found it after a months-long investigation centered on a San Diego warehouse operating as a supposed discount store. Four men were arrested and charged in a cocaine trafficking case tied to more than $45 million in drugs. If convicted, each could face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
