19 students at SDN Sendangrejo Blora suffer poisoning, SPPG halted
Initial Dinkes findings point to packaged milk suspected of being stored improperly; all students have now gone home.
A total of 19 students at SDN Sendangrejo in Ngawen District, Blora Regency, showed signs of poisoning after eating a Makan Bergizi Gratis package on Monday, July 20, 2026. They were treated at the emergency room of the Ngawen Community Health Center, but Blora Regent Arief Rohman said all of the students have gone home and no further symptoms had appeared by Tuesday. The local government also temporarily suspended operations of SPPG Bogowati, the MBG supplier unit run by Yayasan Mitra Cendikia Waskita. That day's menu consisted of rice, yellow-seasoned eggs, stir-fried vegetables, grapes, and 115 milliliter UHT milk. Police sent milk samples to Labkesda Blora after reports that the package had burst and smelled. Preliminary findings from the Blora Health Office suggest the milk was not stored properly.
