14 Indonesian Hajj groups begin transfer from Makkah to Madinah

The first phase of the second wave covers about 5.499 pilgrims, with buses scheduled only from morning through afternoon Saudi time.

Saudi Hajj organizers began transferring 14 groups of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in the second wave from Makkah to Madinah on Sunday, June 7. The first phase covers about 5.499 people. Ihsan Faisal, head of the Makkah work area for Saudi Hajj organizers, said departures are being carried out in stages from 07.00-18.00 Saudi time, with no night travel from Makkah. The service pattern mirrors the pilgrims’ arrival from Madinah to Makkah: buses arrive at hotels four hours before departure, while pilgrim documents are prepared a day earlier through coordination between sector officers and markaz or syarikah. Large suitcases are sent separately by logistics vehicles. Groups departing include JKG 18, KJT 21, SUB 57, JKS 13, LOP 12, UPG 22, BTJ 2, PDG 12, as well as SOC 44 and SOC 45.
