Fire engulfs 112-foot yacht at Sentosa Cove marina in Singapore

A fire tore through the luxury yacht Eagle Wings III at ONE15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore on Sunday morning, sending thick black smoke over the waterfront as emergency crews fought the blaze. Marina management said smoke was detected from a berthed vessel at about 8 a.m. and its on-site response team alerted the Singapore Civil Defence Force. By around 10:30 a.m., the 112-foot superyacht was still burning as firefighters directed water at the vessel, according to witness accounts and local media footage. The yacht is listed for private charters and events and can host up to 50 guests. Authorities had not reported any injuries, and the cause of the fire was not yet clear.
