11 killed at holiday camps in occupied Zaporizhzhia, Russia says

What's new: Moscow opened a terrorism case, while Kyiv separately reported drone strikes on Russian oil and shipping targets far from the front.

Moscow-installed authorities in occupied Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region said a Ukrainian drone attack killed 11 people, including four children, at holiday camps in Kyrylivka on the Sea of Azov. Yevgeny Balitsky, the Russian-appointed regional governor, said 16 people were wounded and rescue crews had finished clearing the site near Melitopol. Ukraine did not immediately comment on the reported strike. Russia's Investigative Committee opened a terrorism case. The deaths came as both sides traded long-range attacks: Ukraine said it hit the Tyumen oil refinery in Siberia, the Filanovsky oil platform in the Caspian Sea and two cargo vessels it said were tied to military shipments between Russia and Iran.
