Cilacap finds about 100 suspected fake SPPG sites
New SPPG registrations in Cilacap are suspended while officials delete problematic entries tied to the free meals program.
The Cilacap regency government has found about 100 Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) points suspected of being fictitious out of more than 300 recorded. Acting Cilacap Regent Ammy Amalia Fatma Surya said the finding came after field verification by the Cilacap regional coordinator of Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) and SPPG heads appointed by BGN headquarters. During checks, some points had no buildings at all and were said to be located in forests, rice fields and cemetery areas. Ammy also said there were practices of buying and selling SPPG points, and that some points were still being offered to other parties. She added that many registered points were listed under foundations carrying the name of BGN Deputy Head Sony Sanjaya. As a follow-up, the SPPG registration portal in Cilacap has been closed temporarily, while the fictitious points that have already been identified will be removed first.
