1,686 Personnel Deployed for MBG Support Rally at Patung Kuda, Jakarta
Crowds are set to begin gathering at 09.00 WIB, while traffic around Gambir will be managed as needed.
A total of 1,686 joint personnel have been deployed to secure a rally supporting the Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) program in the Patung Kuda area of Central Jakarta on Wednesday (8/7). Security involves Polda Metro Jaya, Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat, and local police stations. Police said the rally, organized by Presidium Relawan dan Simpatisan Dukung MBG with several other groups, is scheduled to begin at 09.00 WIB in the Gambir area. Officers are preparing situational traffic diversions depending on the number of people on the ground and are urging residents to avoid nearby areas to prevent congestion. At the same time, several MBG partners and volunteers, including representatives from 3T regions, said they will travel to Jakarta to support the program's continuation.
